Gown in the same region as Yirgacheffe, Ethiopian Sidamo is known for its blend of floral, berry, and citrus notes. The province of Sidamo is in the Ethiopian highlands, at elevations from 6,000 up to 7,000 meters above sea level. Ethiopia is the origin of the Arabica coffee plant and Sidamo is likely the origin of coffee. Sidamo has an ideal climate condition of high altitudes, abundant rainfall, and fertile soil.
